Complaints: If you are unhappy about any aspect of the service you have received or about any invoice delivered please contact Roger Byard in writing or by telephone with full details of your concern or complaint.  He will investigate the matter promptly and thoroughly and provide a written response.  Should the problem not be resolved for any reason you may have the right to complain to the Legal Ombudsman who can be contacted in writing at PO Box 6806 Wolverhampton WV1 9WJ or by e-mail at or by telephone on 0300 555 0333. The Ombudsman usually expects you to allow at least 8 weeks for the matter to be resolved. The time limit for referral of complaints to the Ombudsman is 6 months from the date of your last contact with this practice. If your complaint concerns an invoice you have the additional right to apply to the court for an assessment under Part III of the Solicitors Act 1974.

Financial Services: Roger Byard is not authorised under the Financial Services & Markets Act 2000 but he is able in certain circumstances to offer a limited range of investment services to clients because he is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority.  He can provide these investment services if they are an incidental part of the professional services he has been engaged to provide.
