The education sector always seems to be in a state of transition. Currently the Government’s pressure is on schools to take control of their own destiny by converting to academy status. Further education is facing severe cutbacks in funding and finding alternative sources of revenue is a constant challenge. Private schools and colleges are finding it ever more competitive to maintain their viability and often need to source students from overseas.State schools find themselves playing a "numbers game" for future funding which makes budgeting and staff planning extremely difficult.
I believe I understand these issues and the pressures this puts on getting the best from staff at all levels.
I advise primary and secondary schools and colleges on the issues affecting their employees whether they are executive, teachers or support staff.
